troubles from updating
Hie, I just updated my kde from 3.1.4 to 3.2.2 with kpackage.
during the process, the system asked me whether to employ the new configure file shipped by updating program or keep the old file. The default and suggested answer is "No, I‘d like to keep the old config files." So did I.
But, after updating, I cannot configure my system. the attached picture is the screenshot of my Control Center (Kcontrol). There is no content under the topic of Appearance and so on.
I tried to use other ways to config the appearance, such as right-click desktop and select "Configure desktop", but nothing happened after doing this.
what should I do now?
