书上说用/etc/rc.d/init.d/smb start启动samba，也可用chkconfig --level 3 smb on来启动。可我用find命令也找不到smb这个命令呢。
执行testparm时出错

是在redhat8安装的时候自动装的。应该是rpm包的。有/etc/samba目录。可是没有smb脚本。我想rpm 方式安装的samba不可能没有smb脚本，没天理去让我写一个用呀。我还不知道用哪个类似in.ftpd的程序来启动samba的呢。

不好意思，没看见，你好像没安装samba服务器，你的rpm查询结果只有samba-common和samba-client，smb脚本是启动Samba服务的，再安装一个samba-server-xxx吧。
