I am interested in web service as its interoperability.In order to verify it i wrote a delphi program to call a web service in Apache AXIS.I have tested it many times but just got frustrated now

The web service is built in axis samples and i depoyed it in tomcat successfully.Using its test script i am sure it works ffine :-)
However i got internale server error when using delphi as client and i can not figure it out
procedure TForm1.Button1Click(Sender: TObject);
var
ro: GetQuote;
val : Single;
begin
ro := (HTTPRIO1 as GetQuote);
ro.getQuote('XXX',val);
Edit1.Text := FloatToStr(val);
end;

Can you tell me why it is so difficult its interoperability between different vendor's implementation of web service ?
