Hi!
 
   One of my friends has an INTEL 915 chipset motherboard, and he is unable to get any sound from it.. I donot know the exact error that is being caused, but I've recommended to use the ALSA drivers. When I checked through some of the ALSA's web resources, I couldnt find the model number of the audio chipset that it was supposed to run on. Could anyone please provide me a list of all the chipsets that ALSA supports, and also please suggest which version of ALSA is recommended to be used on Realtek ALC860 audio codec(present on the 915 motherboard). Thanks for any/all replies.
