well me new on linux 9.0
any body tell me how i got volume increase/decrease on my linux 9.0 ?

when i play any dvd/vcd in vlc player sound is very low.. tell me how i increase it ?

Can you send a sreenshot about the program? I'm unable to explain where you can set the volume, because vlc has many skin. But there is in the main window or in the player window a scroll with a "loudspeaker" icon.

Check Sound Settings from you menus.

Try
Ctrl+Up Arrow Key
while playing movie...

This will increase the volume upto 400% or ur master volume in the latest vlc and 200% into the older vlc players.
