No Sound

I have a brand new system with Intel 82801G (ICH7 Family) HIgh Definition Audio Controller (Built in).
The driver module is snd_hda_intel.
My motherBoard is Intel D975XBX.
The driver is also loaded but still i don't get any sound.
Can any body help me in this regard.

Did you check your volume settings to see if it is not muted?
