Please help with my soundcard problem. It worked fine before the update. My soundcard is a GENIUS soundmaker 5.1. Maybe you should know as well, that I have another generic "builtin" sound card VIA, which is not activated (when actived it "jumps-hangs", but at least gives me some audible output, to reassure me, that my volume settings are not on "ZERO"
Having installed SUSE 10.1 I made an online update yesterday, including the new kernel. Since then my sound is gone...If I try to install my card, YAST reports:
The kernel module for sound support could not be loaded. This can be caused by incorrect module parameters including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
KDE tells me:
