I installed fedora while using an old samsung monitor and have since bought a new 17" Balance from Wal-Mart. When I start the computer and boot to windows the monitor works great however if I boot to Fedora I get out of range. I have tried the CTRL Alt options and nothing works. Is there a driver that I must download? What config file should I edit? Any help would be great thanks Gary...

Which Fedora version?
Boot into rescue mode (in grub prompt option) and see if you get the console atleast.
When you get it, you can reconfigure your X server setting using xf86cfg or xf86config, if using XFree86.
You can also reconfigure your X server setting using xorgcfg or xorgconfig, if using Xorg.
To find out which X version you are using, do:
br /]X -version

I am running the Xorg version I am wondering what settings I should set the config file to I have no idea what could be wrong at this point. Maybe the refresh rate? horizontle? vertical? I am not sure what the settings should be. I will have to look in the manual....
