hey...yesterda i have installed debian 3.0 on my pc....i choose gdm as my default display menager....then i run xf86config trying to set everything up....after running startx though im told tha the screen cannot be found, i do have ati radeon 7000 64mb, and envision en-775e monitor(max res. = 1280x1024 @60Hz, hor. freq. = 30k - 72kHz, refresh rate = 85Hz). this it the content of the /var/log/XFree86.0.log file:
