Hi,
I got my dns server running on one machine.... but I am unable to resolve hostname to IP address binding using differnet machine. On client side my /etc/resolv.conf looks like
domain <my domain>
nameserver <ip address of machine running named>
every time I try to use host command it gives me the following message
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached
while resolving names on the DNS server machine works, every command dig, host works on server machine. But remontely it fails.
Any suggestions?
