new debian install

i just install debian. i got kde. but when the computer starts up the login screen its all text, is there a way to make it graphical.

Did you install kdm?
Did you uncomment 'exec startkde' in '~/.xinitrc'?

idk, i got it to use a graphical login but once again i have problems with my graphics card but then again it is always on problem ofter the other, hopefully i will get it fixed soon

YES its verry easy go at www.debian.org and donlowad the internet cd install and at instalation you type installgui {graphic interface}
