Does SuSe behave in a totally different way to other distro's Huh??  I have version 9.3 and recently downloaded ndiswrapper 1.2 in tar format.  I uncompressed the file satisfactorily, removed the ndiswrapper.ko file as suggested in the ndiswrapper help docs and then went on to follow the other instructions.

First was "make distclean"

This seemed to work OK with no errors reported. Then comes

At this point the compilation stopped with error 2.  Can anyone guess at what might be happening please ?  I don't know if it is a SuSe issue or something wrong with the compressed file.

Many thanks in anticipation

Each distro is different, SuSE modify there the kernel source so it depends what kernel that module is for. You'll also need your kernel source installed.

Thanks for the response.  I spent some time looking through folders and reading literaturee and realized that the kernal source is not loaded at installation. I went back and installed it and everything worked fine.  Thanks again for your help.
