I am installing SUSE 10 onto my box and the install seems to be going VERY slowly. It says it will take two hours, but an hour later, it still reads two hours.
My processor is an AMD athlon 64 2800+ and I have a good 512 mb of RAM.
Is this normal, or should I use a different disk?

If my memory serves me right then the last time I had installed Suse 10,it had taken somewhere around 40-50 minutes.
Have you checked the media from where you are installing?What about your opticial drive? Is it working alright?
