Cpanel is mainly for web based hosting and managing your website for the most part.  That is the only aspect that I know about when it comes to Cpanel is for its web user interface for you to manage your website and for managing user accounts.. If you are looking for something that manages your whole PC then you should look at Webmin that allows you to manage about every aspect of your Nix box. Just from what I have seen on there Web site and screen shots that is of Wbmin..

Not to mention that unless you run an array of servers cpanel license fee is around 500 a year or it was the last time I checked.

Cpanel is a great app.. i use it on my domain.. u can configure a lot of things through the web interface.. i heard its expensive .. but it worth it..

Depends on what kind of licesning you get, theres a one time fee which is 1500 US.
