I have a dedicated server which has php web applications installed on them but i also want to develop and use Java applications on the same server!

I have a dedicated server with cpanel, i guess i need to recompile apache with mod_jk. But what is the enxt step? Where should i publish java web applications? Any articles/tutorials?
