Problem With Sun One ASP on RHEL

I currently have a fresh install of Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release
3 (Taroon Update 4) on an x86 server running Sun Java System Active
Server Pages Version: 4.0.2L along with Apache/2.0.46 .

Everything seems to work fine until the server sits idle for some time
(don't know exactly, maybee 40 minutes to an hour) and then wont serve
pages anymore. When I try and access my site I get a "HTTP Error 507"
error after timeout- about 5 minutes.

I need to run ./stopcaspd and ./startcaspd in order to get it back
online, at which time the page loads instantly- no timeout.

I've also noticed that when i do an asp restart the page will load
instantly as well, without trying to access the page first (and getting
the 507 error). Occasionally, hitting refresh a few times seems to
"wake up" the server and the page loads. I don't see any settings in
the Admin console to keep the ASP running, as it should be running all
the time anyway. I also checked all the logs for anything and can't
find anything at all. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
