A recent post suggested using the Fedora packaging to get the separate RPMs
to build for Redhat. I gave that a try but am getting the following error
when doing so on a Redhat 9 system:
/source/include/includes.h.gch
gcc: compilation of header file requested
make: *** [pch] Error 1
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.29170 (%build)
I need to add a check for gcc 3.4 or later when building
the precompiled header file. Just comment out the make pch in the
specfile.
