Hi Anyone ! I have a tribes 2 CD lying around here and wanted to play it, but no luck, even it's downloadable for free at fileplanet you can't get the original linux installers. Only the updates are downloadable from lokigames. So here is my question: Has anyone this game installed working on his/her pc ? If so, can anyone tell me where i can get the installer or send me the 't2launch' and 'tribes2.dynamic' files ? I got a complete set of (Windows) Tribes 2 CDs here and i got the newest Patch from lokigames, just missing this two files. Thanks in advance, Dunkelstern

Yeah, I was looking for that too. It plays under Wine for me, though I think the audio is a little laggy, and it loads like molassas... plaz

I recently read these tactics for Tribes 2 and now I want to get it! Since you can no longer buy or download the linux installer (and it requires the loki CD anyway), I found it on overnet/edonkey/kademlia (mldoney) and you can get it with this link: CODE ed2k://\|file\|tribes2 (linux).iso\|537788416\|668BC2EF7F3239FC352CADDC370D7CE3\|/ There are quite a few sources and download speeds are good. This aught not to violate any copyright as the game is now available free of charge. I will report of any success or failure with this ISO when its downloaded.

As a side note, you will need: tribes2-25034-cdrom-x86.run (mirror 1,2) Also, Panama Jacks has some highly recommended mods, scripts and misc updates. Personally, I got the T2 All In One Version 7.16 (4/10/2003), the Writers Support Fixed Screen, the Capture the Flag Plus and the Base ++ 1.4.92 scripts/fixes.
