Hi,

When I played the game, chromium which ships with RedHat Linux 9, the graphics was choppy.

The FPS went as low as 4.  It is supposed to be around 50.

My comp's configurations:-

QUOTE
RAM - 256 MB.
Processor - Intel Celeron 2.00 GHz.
Video card - S3 ProSavage KM133 (As detected by "redhat-config-xfree86").
Video RAM - 8 MB
----
Bye Bye,
Chandru.

Dear all,

With a graphics card like that I am not surprised at Chronium's FPS rate.
In order to slightly increase your FPS without replacing your graphics card, enable DRI (Direct Rendering Infastructure) on your graphics card if possible. This is done by uncommenting the Load dri line in the modules section of your xorg.config or xfree86.config. To check whether DRI is enabled use glxinfo | grep direct.

Good luck

Hope this helps
