As wolf players may or may not have noticed there is a 2.6 update out for wolf.  I would suggest not installing it, as it seems that since about 1:30 last night the list of server is no longer available, and if you happened to have the ip's of server that have not updated, you can not connect to them due to a change in the protocol.  I will do some more looking around, but i would strongly suggest not updating at this time.
Please post and mention if you are having the same problem, or if the servers are listed for you.

For those interested, which seems like no-one, the ET 2.6 update seems to be working for the last little bit and it is safe to switch over now.  I hope this is of use to at least a few people.

Good news, the 2.6 update solves the difference between the protocols used by windows and linux, so now you can play your windows friends.  This is great news for linux people as we have less games to play, we have a much higher skill pool, so, now, you can drmatical improve your deaths/kills ratio as you have a lot of windows "noobs" stinkin the joint up.
So in conclusion, if you were "ok" at wolf, try it again and you will find that your skills have improved overnight, due to relativity.  Happy Fragging

Well you might once in a blue find that servers are not listed, but its only happened twice lately and it was late at night, and it was fixed very soon.

u mean the protocol difference when connecting to a windows server, because most of the servers and linux and both win and linux users have always been able to connect to them but not those evil windows ones

This is kidna old right now, i remember back in the times when this thread started there I was unable to play on the same servers as my windows-using friends.  This update made all that possible and doomed me to a horrible wolf addiction.  In the first few weeks there was a problem getting servers in the list to connect to.  This has been fixed and is no longer a problem, altho once in a while the list is a little short compared to what is actually available, but thats not a big problem
