Given the sucess of Guitar Hero on the consoles, I have a game idea.

Why don't you have an educational game for linux which works like GH but all you need is to plugin your electric guitar into the minijack socket on your pc. The game would pick out the notes played and rate you playing a peice of guitar music.

As well as being fun, this could be used to learn the guitar or for examination or educational purposes

Any thoughts, ideas, tips? Is it feasible?

I am suggesting you to use a MIC to record the sound having examination on the records.
so everybody won't need to buy extra devices to have the program running.

My idea is not buying alot and have fun .. Smiley
