Redhat 7.3 Installation - Sony Cdrw

Hi,
   iam trying to install Redhat linux 7.3 ,i have Sony CDRW (IDE) & doesnot have any other media drives. It is booting with the cdrom but  when it is asking for the location where my packages are  present iam been asked for CDROM Type & drivers for it.I havenot recieved any drivers for my CDRW.Is it neccessary to provide the drivers or is it some other problem.  iam sure about the CDRW hardware as it is working fine in my Windows 2000.


Pl. help me.
